So here’s my speal on my trip to Vegas that I took back in whenever, Mother’s Day weekend I guess. We left on Friday at around 6pm (best time huh) and headed down 91 east to 71 north to 60 east and right before the 215 north there was traffic. Also before the 215N was a SUV stopped in the slow lane blocking traffic. As we passed by the SUV we noticed the driver was slumped over in his seat not moving and David (driver) called 911 to report it but was transferred to CHP which then resulted in “All Operators are Sleeping” and we could not report the incident (hopefully someone else did).

So anyways, after that the 215N was clear sailing all the way to Vegas. We stopped in that one area with all the stores and food places on the right side (if yur going North) to wiz then stopped further down to get gas at some ghetto place ($3.7X rip off).

We arrived in Vegas around 10pm at South Point and checked into our room and put our shiz away. Steve bought the internet there ($10.95 a day) and I tapped into it thru his Internet Connect Sharing. After we settled in we went down to gamble a bit and I proceeded to lose $60 in a $1 Wheel of Fortune followed by about $20 in a 777 machine. I then went to play $5 blackjack and after losing one hand at a table, I left and went to another one where, after cutting the deck, I managed to win almost every hand in the ’shoe’ and ended up winning about $115 to make up for what I lost previously. I quit after that and basically we all just chilled in the room and watched tv and surfed the web.

The next day we drove up to the strip to eat breakfast at the Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian. It was 10:45am then and lunch wasn’t served until 11am so I had to order breakfast which was a bit of a let down but the breakfast was good. I had hash browns, sausage and eggs. The sausage were pretty plump and the kind that fill you up and they gave me 4; only 2 of which I managed to eat. I gave half to Steve and David didn’t want any cause he’s a wuss. To drink I had water cause I am cheap but David got OJ ($4.95 a glass) and I told him to get a refill which I drank most of and they charged us ($4.95) again (bishes), but David paid for it.

After breakfast (oh yeah I was wearing my Google “I’m Feelin’ Lucky” shirt, so of course I was lucky right), I played a $1 Wheel of Fortune machine across from Grand Lux (by the potties) and after a few spins managed to get a $60 spin to leave me with $35 profit (I always put in $100…mostly). We moved on down the casino towards another group of $1 Wheel of Fortunes and after walking around the machines I sat down and put in $100. After about 30 or so plays of $2 each, I was down about $20 and I hit a pretty big spin on the slot machine part that paid out $720! (Pictured above) David was jealous so he started playing and lost $100 and Steve won a few bucks on the machine next to me. After cashing in I played the same machine David lost at and lost $100. Oh well.

I’ll write more later but this was the best part of our trip to Vegas. I wanted to buy a Wii there but they only had stupid bundles at Frys so I couldn’t.
